FEATHER MERCHANT

The Feather Merchant hailed from San Antonio, Texas 1939. While unique in appearance the model has very gentle and forgiving flight characteristics. Very light for its size the Feather Merchant still uses the original method of building wing tips and tail feathers with the use of reed. For use with Gas or Electric with both installation shown on the plan. Like many old timers the ever changing shapes may have the modeler wondering "what was the designer thinking".

One model has been reported to fly really well with an excellent climb on an inexpensive ferrite motor useing a 1lb 7 cell 2000ma pack.

Modelers should give this bit of American modeling history a second look and add it to their line up of craft.

The model features die cut ribs (original Lehmberge-Tabai dies) and sanded parts along with a small hardware package.
